Another beanie

This beanie has a long story... Please feel free to skip the story and just look at this incredibly, cute hat!

I came up with back in October for my sister in law Shelley. I actually wore her hat for a day because it was so cute and I didn't want to give it up! My good friend Alisha stopped by while I was wearing the hat and she like it so much she asked me to make her one. What she liked about this hat was the patterned stripes and the flatter top.  She even went to the store that day and picked out some yarn for me.  Well, the yarn didn't work... It was one of those multicolored yarns that only look cute all rolled up in their package but make anything you crochet remind you of your great grandmother. So I texted her and she came over and I showed her wasn't working out like I thought she wanted she agreed and decided to pick out other yarn.  Another couple weeks went by and she brought some over, and once again I knew it wouldn't work... But I didn't tell her. I just made her a hat with the colors she choose in the right yarn and it turned out fabulous (but also teaching me not to let people pick out their own yarn)...

Well, many of you know Alisha and you are thinking why the heck is there a flower on Alisha's hat!? Well she wanted stripes and I didn't think stripes worked with the hat.  So I made a teeny, tiny, flower hoping that Alisha will try the flower for just one day! It comes off like all my flowers do, so I have a feeling it will not be there long.... But, maybe, just maybe, I can turn a tomboy into a girl that will wear teeny, tiny flowers- Naaaah... who am I kidding!
